BRAZIL WINS FOSSIL OF THE DAY AWARD
For the first time in the history of the "Fossil of the Day" award, Brazil took first place for its ridiculous statements in defense of its new forest code. The Climate Action Network (CAN) -- a worldwide network of over 700 Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in more than 90 countries, working to promote government and individual action to limit human-induced climate change to ecologically sustainable levels -- is giving the awards for absurd statements being made at the UN Climate talks being held in Durban, South Africa.
