Childrens' Spiritual Work
Vila Fortaleza
06 January 2008
One good reason why the Daimistas of Acre are so firm in their spiritual works is that they have been drinking Daime since childhood, often starting in the womb.
Although this practice has been a reality for decades (Madrinha Rizelda, for example, has been drinking Daime for nearly 60 years starting at age seven) it was only last year that the Brazilian Federal authorities -- after careful study -- declared that it was officially legitimate for children to take the sacrament, with parental consent.

The children begin to practice the hymns at an early age. The childrens' work is central to the future of the community -- and also great fun. Watching Ana Rosa and Livia learning to dance is precious.
VIVA AS CRIANÇAS!
LONG LIVE THE CHILDREN!
