Brazilian Blogger Reports on Crisis in Tibet

Castro-Monks-Katmandu
In Boudha, the most important Tibetan neighborhood of the Kathmandu Valley, monks pray for World Peace. In the background, a painting of the Potala Palace reminds all of their native land.

My friend Nina Michaelis -- who translates some of the posts of Visionshare into Portuguese -- writes about her friend:

I have this friend -- Haroldo Castro -- journalist and photographer, who has visited more than 130 countries and writes for important magazines in Brazil. He has this blog that now is translated into English. At this exact time he is in Katmandu, only 6 months after he wrote the most commented-on story that the Brazilian online magazine ever had about his trip to Tibet.
