
This was my third visit with the Baiano. I found our old friend as always -- waiting to greet us with a smile, with great cheese and coffee, and with a delight in sharing his knowledge and good vibes with all who arrive at his humble abode.
His life seemed pretty much as it had been -- a year older but certainly no worse for the wear. He was out in the field cutting cane

Teaching the new kid how to milk a cow

Making fresh farm cheese

and string cheese from Mozzarella


and sharing cafe, frescal and Maria's delicious corn cake
