A DELICATE BALANCE
In world very out of balance this seems as quite a meditation.
Because we have been living in a world of relative natural stability it is hard to see the delicate balance of forces that holds its equilibrium. Things like climate and seasons have seemed firm and predictable. Yet, under the pressure of growing human population, consumption and development, human action can easily flip into chaos the equilibrium that had been built slowly into a great balancing act of nature.
