Tar Sands Action REPORT:

Yesterday the Tar Sands Action continued making big waves.
First, we topped Google News for most of the afternoon, meaning that the action was one of the most talked about stories on the entire internet – topping even major corporate merger news and the President’s own announcement about an address to Congress. Screenshot above!
Later, former Vice President Al Gore endorsed the Tar Sands Action, first on his blog where he praised the bravery of folks sitting-in at the White House and then went on to soundly condemn the Keystone XL pipeline:
“This pipeline would be an enormous mistake. The answer to our climate, energy and economic challenges does not lie in burning more dirty fossil fuels —instead, we must continue to press for much more rapid development of renewable energy and energy efficient technologies and cuts in the pollution that causes global warming.”
He also tweeted his support to his 2.2 million twitter followers.
